Headwaters State Bank was originally located in Phelps, Wisconsin under the name Phelps State Bank. In 1955 permission was granted by the Wisconsin State Banking Commission to move the charter to Land O' Lakes, Wisconsin and change the name to Headwaters State Bank.

On February 15, 1957 Headwaters State Bank was housed in what is now Trading Post Antiques. As the Bank continued to grow it needed a larger facility. In September 1981 Headwaters moved to its current location of 4175 County Road B. A branch office was opened in Presque Isle, Wisconsin in July of 1996.

As an independent Bank we strive to provide quality products and services. Since its opening, the Bank has played an integral part in enhancing the lives of its customers and contributing greatly to the growth of the community.
