Maintain a $500.00 monthly average balance in your Basic Checking and receive no monthly service charge. If your average monthly balance is less than $500.00 a $10.00 service charge will be drawn from your account on the last business day of the month. We will provide a monthly statement that includes images of your checks and deposits for your convenience. Please review your statement and balance your account each and every month. Maintain a $2,000.00 balance in any Headwaters State Bank deposit account and receive one box of complimentary checks (style is limited) when you order your checks directly from us here at the Bank. This account is the perfect checking solution for anyone receiving Social Security Benefits or payments from their 401K or Pension Plan. Upon verification of receipt of retirement income, we can open your Retired Checking Account with a $100.00 deposit. We offer unlimited check writing, no per-check charges and no monthly service charge. We will provide a monthly statement that includes images of your checks and deposits for your convenience. Please review your statement and balance your account monthly. Maintain a $2,000.00 balance in any Headwaters State Bank deposit account and receive one box of complimentary checks (style is limited) when you order your checks directly from us at the Bank. Student checking
We know that it can be difficult to make ends meet when you are a full time student. That is why we designed the Student Checking Account, which can be opened with as little as $100. With verification of full time enrollment (12 credit minimum) at an accredited school we can set you up with unlimited check writing, no per-check charges, no monthly service charge and no minimum balance requirements. We will contact you annually to verify your continued enrollment and upon graduation or termination of your enrollment, Headwaters State Bank reserves the right to maintenance your account to the Basic Checking Account. We will provide a written notice prior to making any changes on your account. We will provide a monthly statement that includes images of your checks and deposits for your convenience. Please review your statement and balance your account monthly. Maintain a $2,000.00 balance in any Headwaters State Bank deposit account and receive one box of complimentary checks (style is limited) when you order your checks directly from us at the Bank. The NOW Account offers unlimited check writing, no per-check charges and will help you maximize your money by paying a competitive interest rate (click here for current interest rates). The NOW account requires $1,000.00 to open and if you maintain a minimum daily balance requirement of $1,000.00 you will receive no monthly service charge. If your account balance falls below $1,000.00 at any time during the month, a $10.00 service charge will be drawn from the account on the last business day of the month. Interest will compound monthly and be credited to your account on a monthly basis. We will provide a monthly statement that includes images of your checks and deposits for your convenience.
